On my birthday weekend during June of 2021 my friends and I took a trip up to Frisco, Colorado. What we encountered there one night, in a courtyard nestled between two fine drinking establishments, was a man who dared face hope right in the face. Here was a man who refused to let the universe tell him no. We gathered around his trials and tribulations cheering him on, eventually bearing witness to his victory.
